Still life with green bottle

Oil on wood, ready to hang. Signed on the front. I like to paint subjects where light plays with colour and shadow. The soft colours in the background give a sense of calm and allow the eye to focus on the refracted and reflected light through the glass. The light playing on the green bottle is the most vibrant but reflects its colour on the darker brown bottle. The action of light on an object is fascinating and an artists delight.

This painting will be available for purchase in December. Currently in an exhibition. Oil on linen, ready to hang. Signed on the front. This artwork comes with an external frame I love sweet and juicy oranges and when driving through the Riverina area in NSW recently, I came across a grove of orange trees, waiting to be harvested. I decided to do this zoomed in painting of one section of a tree. Such a gorgeous orange colour against the vibrant green leaves. This painting is framed in a natural Tasmanian oak box frame.

Framed in Tasmanian Oak - ready to hang. This is a semi abstract painting of a coastline, indicative of our Eastern Coast of Australia. I am inspired by a stormy beachscape as it brings a different emotion to the usual sunny day by the water. I love the play of moody light on the ocean and the restless surf approaching the ever changing beach.
