I was captured by the tree canopy across this path. The trail was darkened by the tree covering but little bits of light speckled through the leaves. A slightly abstracted scene with a path leading the viewer to an unknown endpoint.

At the Beach

I love the beach and am fortunate to live on the East Coast of NSW. There is nothing like sitting under the beach umbrella, wathcing the tide ebb and flow, going for an occasional dip and relaxing on the sand. This is the place where you see vibrant colours and the never ending Australian blue sky. Beautiful.

This is a small still life depicting hand thrown pottery found in a market in Washington DC. I love the green of the vases and added stems of rice flowers for interest. I have used an illustrative outline to make the colours pop.
